Although Schaublin's products have always won for precision and output, the spirit of innovation and the constant quest for quality remain unchanged. Over the years, the Company has thus gained a leading place in the world through the quality, high precision, reliability and long life of its products, both for tool holders and spherical bearings and other specialities.

Tool holding products

The means of clamping is one of the significant components that decides the quality of work done on a machine, because it is the component which is in direct contact with the part to be machined.

The Schaublin collet really is an amazing product that defies the march of time: some collets that we are still selling today were designed in 1915!

Although the basis of clamping remains the same, new technologies which enable some machine-tools to reach speeds of nearly 100,000 rpm have impelled us into undertaking new developments (new steels, heat treatments, other technical practices). This is what makes our products accurate and modern.

Spherical bearings

Unibal spherical bearings fulfil a key function of transmitting movement between moving mechanical components. Schaublin's expertise has made them suitable for innumerable applications in the mechanical, railway, naval, aerospace, textile, automotive and other industries.

Apart from the standard products in the catalogue, our design department analyses and designs all kinds of special applications meeting customers' special requirements.

Our production departments then take charge of manufacturing the product.
